There was need for a project like Ujima and it has brilliantly filled the gap. A wonderful project that has arisen from the community that benefits the community. The hard work of Marina and her team has allowed connections to be formed with students at Leeds Beckett University and this has greatly helped the quality of teaching the children receive, allowing them each to get more attention.

Having seen first hand the confidence Ujima gives the young people, and also how it instills self-belief in them, I truly feel it is a project that can and should continue to operate for years to come.
